Abstract

APPLICATIONS USING VOICE RECOGNITION AND HANDOVER PROCESS USING WCDMA MODULE TRAINER (WCDMA-5000) ( 2014 : xi + 40 Page + Appendix ) TITIAN FALENSIA MAJOR IN ELECTRIC ENGINEERING PROGRAMME STUDY TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING THE STATE POLYTECHNIC OF SRIWIJAYA WCDMA-5000 is an educational platform for 3G mobile communication for mobile communications practice group 3GPP international standards. In this thesis, the author uses WCDMA Trainer Module (WCDMA-5000). In this module generates the operation how Trainer module WCDMA (WCDMA-5000) and used as a lab module in Telecommunications Engineering Laboratory. This module discusses how to run CVD, run QPST program, WCDMA Physical Layer, Layer PRC, Process calls - Voice Services, and Handover. In this module uses some software including ADS, Patch, ActivePerl, Cygwin, CodeViser, and Path Setup. The results obtained from the final report, the voice recognition features voice and piano at the handover process displays signal, PSC (primary dcramble code), sets, energy and RSCP (received signal code power). WCDMA is the development of mobile communications systems to third generation. Keyword : WCDMA, QPST, Handover.
