Abstract
The working principle of solar cell is the conversion of solar energy that is owned by the heat of the sun into electrical energy. The electrical energy is obtained by way of employment component of the solar cell that can respond to the intensity of the light and convert it into electrical energy through heating of semiconductor materials that exist in the solar cell. When electricity was generated, then the electrical energy stored in rechargeable battery cells that can store an electrical charge to be used at any time.. Voltage and current obtained in the solar cell does not equal the power generated is also different. This is because the intensity of sunlight on the surface of the solar cell varies depending on time and weather. (Key words: solar cell, rechargeable battery)
