Abstract

Mobile robot with gas leak detection using xbee module based microcontroller atmega 32u4 is a mobile robot that can detect a gas. Mobile robots gas leak detector is controlled by Arduino Leonardo & XBee-based microcontroller ATMega32u4. This microcontroller controls the type of distance sensor SRF04 as a navigation system of the robot gas leak detection, sensor gas detector TGS 2600 as the robot moves and use applications of DC motors. If the sensor detects the presence of a barrier srfo4 robot will turn and run automatically without crashed into the barrier and the surrounding objects. When TGS2600 sensor detects the presence of a gas odor, then the robot will stop and will send the data to the XBee Series 1 modules. Such data will display from Laptop with coolterm applications.
