Abstract
This report discussed about designing video script. The aim of this final report is to explain how to design a video script of Palembang traditional food miniature as a new creation of souvenir in Palembang. In this final report, the writer used research and development by simplifying Sukmadinata’s (2019) research and development method. The “Research and Development” includes 3 steps : (1) Preliminary Study: Literature Study, Field Survey which contains of interview, observation, and documentation, and Model Drafting, (2) Model Development consisted of Limited Testing and Wider Testing, and also (3) Final Product Testing. For making the video script, the writer used steps in making video script by Friedmann (2014). The testing involved 5 experts in the field of English language, script writing and miniature souvenirs. After having revision from the experts, the video script was considered as final product. The video script was written in English by using Final Draft as the software of writing the story. In conclusion, this final report has explained the steps in designing video script of how to design a video script of Palembang traditional food miniature as a new creation of souvenir in Palembang.
