Abstract

The concrete is a material of consist of from mixture of cement, water, rough aggregate, soft aggregate, with or without addition substance. The concrete is a material of construction in using the area civil engineering as edifice of building, bridge, road and etc. The shells is a waste who give opportunity of effort which can to increase a quality from the waste which can to increase economics value from waste it. This research have a purpose to know the ratio of powerful in concrete pressure with using clam shells as the substitute of rough aggregate about normally concrete with beginning treatment. The object of experiment is using cylinder shape in diameter 100 mm and tall 200 mm. The beginning of pressure in fixed in this research 0 kn, 12 kN, and 25 kN. The concrete of quality will be plan fc’ = 40 Mpa. The value of powerful of pressure concrete who give beginning treatment inclined bigger than the value of powerful is not give beginning treatment. The value of powerful is using clam shells as substitute rough of aggregrate lower than the value of powerful of normally presure of concrete. From the result of research who knows that the concrete who give beginning concrete 25 kN has result the value of powerful of pressure concrete is bigger.
