Abstract
ABSTRACT Construction of Sriwijaya University School of Public Health in the wake of increasing human resources have the ability to develop and disseminate science and technology in the health sector, as well as the support that everyone in society has a strong standard of living to maintain their health. To support this, the Faculty of Public Health should be supported by a variety of factors, both human resources are also educational facilities are adequate and complete. With this basis, the construction of the building is done lectures School of Public Health. This building is a whole section on buildings using reinforced concrete structures and use a pile foundation structure of the bottom of the building. The planning is guided by structure of the regulations applicable in Indonesia, among others: SNI 03-2847-2002 on Calculation Procedure for Concrete Structures for Buildings, SNI 03-1729-2002 on Procedures for Steel Structural Design for Buildings, SNI 03-1726-2002 on Standards The planning for Earthquake Resistance of Building Structures, PPIUG 1987 on the imposition Planning Guide lines for Home and Building. And author's calculations for analysis using methods, including : Reinforced Concrete Structures by Istimawan Dipohusodo, The Plan based of Concrete Reinforced by W.C Vis and Gideon Kusuma, Steel Structural Design with LRFD method by Agus Setiawan, Piles and Foundations part I by Sardjono, HS. Of the analytical results it can be concluded that the calculation of the structure of the building is planned to be solid, safe, efficient, and effective way to support the weight of the building.
