Abstract

MOTOR PROTECTION SYSTEM ANALYSIS SLURRY PUMPS FC-4A 150kW 380V ON FCCU RIVER REFINERY IN PT Pertamina RU Gerong III Plaju (2009: viii + 37 pages + 8 Pictures + 2 Table + Appendix) Muhammad Rizky Ramadhan Department of Electrical Engineering Electrical Engineering Program State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya Motor Slurry Pumps is a centrifugal pump motor serves to attract the bottom (heavy oil) to the storage channel in refinery FCCU Gerong River. Excess load on the motor pump is almost always caused by external loads or by the mechanics of the pump itself, because it is too narrow diffuser arrangement or natural circumstances. Effects can also be overloaded due to too high suction height and location of the pipeline on the extreme path length. For that it is necessary calculations relay setting current to prevent an overload on the pump's motor. And the calculation of the touch voltage grounding for safety and prevent damage to the motor. Final report is made to determine how to setup over load relays and a large calculation nominal current to the motor slurry pumps FC-150 KW 380V 4A.
