Abstract
TL.Jambe- TG.Api-Api road is a road that connects the city limits of Palembang to TG Api-Api District limits. This road section has an important role in promoting economic growth both locally and nationally. In writing this final report, writers want to know how the geometric planning methods and pavement thickness are good at TL.Jambe- TG.Api- Api road, so the road can give safety, comfortable, and economical for all road users. In the geometric design of highway planning, the main basic references are horizontal alignment, vertical alignment and to design the type of pavement. From the results of the above calculations, the Betung - Sei Lilin road is the way class II A (Arterial Road) with a speed plan 60 km/hour and this road used 8 curves. Layer using the type of road surface pavement Laston with 4 cm (AC-WC), 6 cm (AC-BC) and 8 cm (AC-Base)of thickness, the base layer using split class A with 15 cm of thickness, and subbase layer using Split class B with 18 cm of thickness.
