Abstract

The title of this final report is the study of body language based on delivery process in Jim Rohn's speech. The problem is what are the body languages used by Jim Rohn in his speech. The purpose is to find out the type of the body language used by Jim Rohn in his speech. The method of this research was quantitative descriptive method. The writer collected the data through observation, documentation and library reseacrh. The samples were three videos published on January 2013 of Jim Roh's speech. Based on the finding, the writer found that Jim Rohn used all types of gesture 23,9oh, eye contact 46,3 oh and movement 29,8o/o. Therefore, it can be concluded that Jim Rohn always used gesture, eye contact and movement with different portion in every his speech and it is a good result to prove that he used not only verbal communication but also non verbal communication in delivering his speech to audience.
