Abstract
The aim of this research was to know how to write a video script of Mount Dempo Area as One of Natural Destinations in South Sumatera using the steps of writing a script by Friedman (2006). The methodology of this research was Research and Development Method (R&D) adapted from Sukmadinata (2005). The steps were: (1) Preliminary Study, (2) Model Development, and (3) Final Product Testing. In the preliminary study, the writer did a literature study, field study, and arranged model draft. In the model development, there were limited testing and wider testing of the product. While in final product testing the product was developed for the final version of the product. The writer collected the data by observation and interview as a reference for writing a video and to get some information. The video was design by the writer and then given to experts. The result of this research is the writer made a Video Script to share about Mount Dempo Area. The video contained about the location, the kinds of attraction, the situation, the accommodation, the specialty of the place and some shop recommendation in Mount Dempo Area.
