Abstract
The aims of this report is to know whether the Lake Kongar is potential as a tourism destination in Musi Banyuasin. The methodology used in this report is qualitative method, and the data were collected by using observation and interview. The result shows that the Lake Kongar has potency to be a tourism destination in Musi Banyuasin, because it has five aspects of a tourism destination that are attraction, accessibility, amenities, accommodation, and activities. The writer suggestions that the governments should add some facilities, such as hotel accommodation and also parking lots to make tourist more comfortable in this destination.
