Abstract
This report discusses about the the analysis three folktales of Palembang South Sumatera using Narrative Structure and Rhetorical Structure Theory. The main purpose of this report is to know all the elements and steps that the author use in written folktales. The research methodology of this job training report is study case. The result of this report is the folktale using forward plot. The conclusions are by using both of that method for analyzing the writer can more easier to analyze the folktale. Beside it can help the reader more easy to analyze the story in the folktales about the main idea and relation between sentence. In addition, to verify all good elements that forming in the folktales.
