Abstract
Tujuan penulisan laporan akhir ini adalah untuk membuat sebuah Aplikasi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Magang pada PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (PERSERO) DIVRE III Palembang berbasis Website menggunakan Framework Codeigniter. System informasi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Permasalahan yang ada pada PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (PERSERO) DIVRE III Palembang adalah proses pendaftaran mahasiswa magang yang masih manual. Proses rekap laporan yang dilakukan secara menual dikumpulkan dalam bentuk buku diserahkan kepada kepala bagian. Sistem ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi langsung di PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (PERSERO) DIVRE III Palembang dan wawancara langsung dengan pegawai bagian penerimaan mahasiswa magang, serta sebagai data pendukung lainnya digunakan juga studi pustaka seperti referensi buku dan studi dokumentasi dari PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (PERSERO) DIVRE III Palembang. Dalam pengembangan system ini penulis menggunakan metode waterfall. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini berupa Aplikasi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Magang pada PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (PERSERO) DIVRE III Palembang berbasis Website menggunakan Framework Codeigniter.
