Abstract

This final report describes how to design a wall follower robot using microcontroller based using PD control . This robot is designed to work using two types of sensors, the ultrasonic sensor is used to adjust the distance between the robot with the wall, and MQ5 sensors are used to detect the presence or absence of smoke in a room. The use of methods of PD control on the wall follower robot is intended that the robot can produce good movement in search of smoke contained in the trajectory of the robot.
