The purpose of this final report was to design brochures that could be used to introduce aesan gede as Palembang traditional wedding costume. The data of designing brochures were taken from some books literatures and websites. Meanwhile, the data of aesan gede were taken from observation the display of aesan gede, interviewing with humanist who know detail about aesan gede at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Museum, and also reading some literatures review related to aesan gede. There were three steps indesigning the brochures (1) collecting data, (2) analyzing data, (2) using Photoshop CS3 software design application. The writer used two strategies (1) visual strategies as verbal (e.i, headline, body copy, slogan, and closing words or base line) and (2) visual strategies as non-verbal (e.i, format design, illustration, layout, logo, tipography, and color). The results were bi-fold and tri-fold format brochures as product of designing brochures to promote aesan gede as Palembang traditional wedding cotume. Key words: design, brochure, aesan gede.
