Abstract

Libraries and management information centers in the Information Management department that are currently running still use the manual method. There is not yet an application program that can process member data, book data, borrowing and returning book data, as well as making computerized reports, so making reports becomes difficult. The purpose of making this smartphone apps library and information center management is to make member data processing, book borrowing and return data, and report generation already computerized, making it easier to make reports. The method used in making this application is the waterfall method which consists of several stages, namely requirements analysis, system design, implementation, integration, and testing, as well as operation and maintenance. The quality of the system produced using the waterfall method will be better, because the implementation is gradual, so it is not focused on certain stages. Program testing is carried out using the Blackbox method which prioritizes testing of the functional requirements of the program created. The purpose of the Blackbox method is to find malfunctions in the program so that repairs can be made. The results of the study indicate that this application is ready to use and is expected to assist the admin or librarian in managing member data, borrowing, and returning books, and preparing reports.
