Abstract
Road has a very important role in promoting economic growth both locally and nationally. In writing this final report, the authors wanted to know how good palnning in geometric design, pavement thickness, and building appendages in Lahat Road – MuaraEnim so the path to be traversed can provide a sense of security, comfortable and economical for road users in geometric design of highway planning, things are reference in planning include the calculation of horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, pavement establish what will be used and complementary building planning. From the result of the calculation above, Lahat – MuaraEnim is a road with a speed class II A road plan 80 km/ hour and in this way using 7 pieces bend. Layer of the road surface using class B Agregate CBR 60% with 35 cm thick layer, while a layer of gravel subbase using a class A aggregate CBR 90% with a 15 cm. then thickness AC/Base is a 15 cm, 7 cm ACBC, 8 cm AC-WC thickness for Construction of roads is carried out within 111 days a total fund of Rp. 29.549.748.000,00 Keyword : Horizontal Alignment, Vertical Alignment, Pavement Thickness.
