Abstract

This report discusses planning water drainage system waste derived from the rain water .Drainage this serves to protect the area road underpass from the flood. The author wants to know how to plan the drainage of the area of a river weir and how the cost of the drainage. Data-data is collected based on the study of literature. Data-data is calculated using the methods that has been developed by Dr. Mononobe. This report get discharge of the total is = 65,907 m3/second with the length of the planned 5500 m. A cross section used in the planning system drainage channel river weir the city of palembang this is a cross section channel of a trapezoid. Dimensions a cross section of a trapezoid channel obtained from calculation using an equation manning , until they reached dimensions largest channel have wide base ( b ) = 14,45 m , the height of water ( h ) = 2,95 m and high surveillance ( d ) = 1.25 m. total budget planned at this drainage planning is Rp. 107.355.359.000,00 ( one hundred seven billion three hundred and fifty five million three hundred and fifty nine thousand rupiah ) for 456 day. Based on discussions and calculation the author concluded that the drainage system in the region of the weir the city of palembang able to accommodate waste rain water. Writer suggested that in planning and making drainage need of exactness in calculation and suit of economic aspect
