Abstract
The main objective of this report is to design a drum machine or transfer device to move the drum and get the results in the form of working drawings and determine the components of the transfer drum lifter and this. Lifting equipment design and transfer drums have some concepts with the steps were: need, problem analysis, design of product concept, engineering analysis, modeling and up to the working drawings. The next process is the statement of requirements, analyze requirements, design considerations, and the continued demands of design. The design of the transfer drum lifter and this is to facilitate the work in moving the drum used in the process of moving the drum in an industry. For the completion of the design it is necessary to note that the burden of action should be able to be detained by the tool is in the form of weight and dimensions of the drum ie, diameter 570 mm and height of 800 mm and a capacity drum lifter can lift loads up to 250 kg.
