Abstract
Kebutuhan konsumsi daging sekarang ini semakin meningkat diikuti dengan meningkatnya populasi sapi potong di dalam negeri, hendaknya diikuti dengan peningkatan jumlah pakan demi tersedianya pakan yang cukup untuk ternak sapi. Jagung merupakan sumber pangan dan pakan di Indonesia, dalam pengolahan jagung pasti akan menghasilkan sisa berupa bonggol jagung, pengolahanya yang hanya sedikit dijadikan kerajinan tangan serta digunakan alternative pengganti kayu bakar. Melihat kandungan bonggol jagung yang kaya akan karbohidrat, memungkinkan untuk dijadikan sebagai campuran pakan ternak sapi, sehingga perlu cara yang tepat untuk mengolah bonggol jagung menggunakan mesin penghancur bonggol jagung untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pakan ternak sapi. Current meat consumption is increasing followed with the increase in beef cattle population in the country, It should be followed by an increase in the amount of feed for the sake of fodder availability for cattle. Corn is a food and feed source in Indonesia, in the process, corn would have generate residual form of corncobs, to process it, we only bit made crafts and used alternative firewood substitute. Seeing the rich content of corncob carbohydrates, it is possible to be used as a mixture cattle feed, so it needs the proper way to treat corncobs use shredder corncob to meet the needs of cattle feed.
