L293D DRIVER DC MOTOR APPLICATION ON LINE FOLLOWER ROBOT AS A WAITER NING LAGITA JULKURANI SK In a restaurant, there are waiters to serve the food for customer. The waiters served to record the food ordered and deliver food after the food is ready. But the waitrers are not always present in their job, so it was made Line Follower Robot as a Waiter as an alternative to the absence of the waiters. This robot can replace waiters who can provide a variety of menu orders, the total order and deliver the food. This robot use photodioda and infrared sensor, transmitter, receiver, LCD, push button dan dc motor. The function of DC motor as an actuator to move a robot from one place to another. DC motors using the L293D driver which can activate the motor. The voltage required to activate the motor is 12 Volt. The voltage between the motor and the microcontroller is made separately, so that the performance of the motor is not disturbed. Because a lot of things that can affect performance of a DC motor, both factors of the motor itself, or from around the motor. L293D motor driver will be controlled by a microcontroller ATMega 16.
