Abstract

There are a lot of renewable energy that can be utilized in this world. One of the renewable energy is the fuel cell with the reaction utilizing chemical energy into electrical energy. This fuel cell fuel is water, in this world there are many sources of water so that the fuel cell will never run out of fuel. By utilizing this process can reduce the shortage of other fuels such as fuel oil, coal and others. This final report aims to determine the source of the voltage generated by a fuel cell which has been strengthened by the use of dc / dc to be a source of battery charging GTZ 5S. As well as calculate the value of battery voltage and current (batteries), determine the voltage, current and voltage inverter input and output as well as calculate battery charging time (batteries) that uses fuel cell voltage source.
