Abstract
Generator efficiency is the ratio between the output power (Pout) and input power (Pin). Efficiency is affected by the load current, if the current is greater then the power lossis also getting bigger, it causes the efficiency to be small, on the contrary if the load current is small, the power loss will also be small so that efficiency becomes greater. Writer wanted to know how much the efficiency of the PLTU generators in Bukit Asam, efficiencies gained from the results of calculations by comparing the output power to input power ranging from24 to 26 April 2015 shows that the average efficiency of the generator ranges between 99.80%.
