Abstract
The efficiency of the generator is a comparison between output power (Pout)and input power (Pin). Pin is strongly influenced by the size of a current of the burden of elapsed, The power output (pout) became an elapsed on PLTG. The author wants to know how much influence change attached to the efficiency of power generator. Based on the results of the discussions concerning the generator 11 KV / 20 MW for PLTG units 3 keramasan PT. PLN (Persero) Palembang. The efficiency which obtained from a result of calculation based comparison power output against resources enter, It can be seen that the average efficiency the generator ranged from 99,85 %. Efficiency generator highly influenced by the burden of elapsed. If the higher of output power or power of elapsed then mount efficiency generator will be high too.
