Abstract

3-phase induction motors are widely used in industry. This is because the electric motor is one of the systems of equipment that converts electrical energy into mechanical .. To run an electric motor is need for control, there are various types of electric motor control depending on the function of the motor, the motor slurry pumps At FC PM-4A starting the use is starting direct On Line (DOL) or starting directly. With DOL Starter method on three-phase motors, the starting current that goes into the motor of 1404 A, the reason the use of Direct On Line starting as a function of the motor slurry pumps which require large starting torque. The voltage drop when the motor is turned on (starting) is not a problem because it does not cross the line under-voltage allowable tolerance.
