Abstract

Distribution transformer which has been burdened need to know how much load is already installed on the secondary side of the load that has been installed does not exceed the capacity of the transformer, because it affects the durability of the transformer for a long time in distributing electricity. The calculations relating to the distribution transformer which has been burdened to note that the percentage of load, output power (output) transformer, and the transformer efficiency. Transformer values obtained from the calculation find the highest percentage loading of 54.11% while the lowest 36.82% at a time when the day (peak load). From the calculation of the average power that passes through the secondary side of the transformer authors found the highest power of 443 516 kW while the lowest amounted to only 302 803 kW. The highest transformer efficiency of 43.41% and the lowest efficiency gained by 29.77%. Then from these results loading the transformer can be said is still in a low level and still can be maximized again assignment.
