Abstract

This final report aims to increase knowledge about the robot under water kinds of Remoted Operated Vehicles (ROV) and Metal Detector. ROV is a vehicle whose movement controlled directly by human beings through remote control from above the surface of water. While metal detector is a device that serves to identify the existence of an object with metal or metallic material .Metal that can be in the detection of metal detector with a series of metal objects containing this is the element of iron or can affect a magnetic field. The most important in the underwater robot is control system and waterproof material that will be used. Therefore on a final report is used a control system with using a cable to give instruction to the underwater robot. For diving the robots, using 4 pieces of motor dc underwater, while building blocks the framework of the robot material made from a pipe paralon to manipulate the weight of the robot.
