Abstract

The main purpose of this final project is to control toxic substances (CO) issued by a smoke with street facilitate air circulation and can rejuvenate in a room. This tool can help active smokers to not pollute pollution smoke on passive smokers. The detection circuit has an input that is Sensor MQ-2. This sensor is a gas sensor that can detect smoke and also know the content of which occurred in the air. When the sensors detect smoke and carbon monoxide value exceeds the reference value, then the electrical resistance of the sensor will go down and microcontroller ATMEGA 8535 which is the output of the controller will activate Relay Driver automatically that serves as a switch to turn on the exhaust fan so that the air in the smoke pollution dumped out and happening the air circulation. The output voltage generated by the Relay when the conditions normally open (Exhaust Fan live) will have a smaller value than the conditions normally close relay (Exhaust Fan die). The value of carbon monoxide in the air content will be displayed to the LCD. The greater the concentration of carbon monoxide, the greater the voltage generated by the Sensor MQ-2.
