Abstract

Bread is a food that can be found in the dailies of life. Bread also has many benefits because it has a lot of carbohydrate and protein. At this time the bread has many kind of varians, To increase the taste of bread we can process them with many kind of processing which is with baked. Toaster now also come with other types, one of them by applying a conveyor for the toaster, This conveyor is using a DC's motor as mover and to control speed of conveyor with controller motor speed. To adjust the motor's speed we need some a different voltage, because when the voltage is high, then the RPM is high too on the DC's motor. DC's Motor will be active when the relay is in NC. The relay will be active by using the microcontroller ATMEGA 8535 as controller and the photodiode as an input to the microcontroller. If the photodiode is activated, so the sensor will provide a logic to the microcontroller and micro will give a logic to relay to drive the motor so that bread can moved past the heating elements by a conveyor. To adjust the motor's speed (RPM) is required some a different voltage. When the voltage is high, then the RPM also high. And to adjust the voltage we have to use IC LM317 which is can be control the voltage by comparing the value of resistance on the IC.
