Abstract
Plastic waste including one of the problem of environment that most concern in Indonesia , even thought to have reached thousands of tons. Plastic will be breaks down in time 450 to 600 years .Therefore, needed plastic environmentally friendly in order to reduce pollution , for example biodegradable plastic made from starch or cellulose. Tofu dregs waste becomes raw material of biodegradable plastic because tofu dregs containing 66,24 percent carbohydrates. Making plastics biodegradable is a casting ( method mold ) with the addition of a plasticizer glycerin through 3 stage of starch that is making tofu dregs of starch , making plastics and analysis of biodegradable plastic biodegradable sample ( thickness , tensile strength , biodegradability test , a test of endurancewater ) .The results of analysis sample is the thickness of plastic 0,40 mm; strong pull 0,0126 Mpa; test endurancewater 91,22 resilience % and biodegradability test for 7 days.
