Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji pengelolaan inventaris seperti pencatatan pada kertas atau Excel menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti keterlambatan input, kesalahan data, dan kurangnya transparansi. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sistem yang mampu mengelola data inventaris secara terpusat dan real-time. Laporan akhir ini membahas perancangan dan implementasi aplikasi inventaris barang berbasis website pada Unit Sistem Informasi PT KAI Divisi Regional III Palembang. Dengan dukungan teknologi PHP, MySQL, dan Bootstrap. Aplikasi ini dilengkapi dengan fitur pengelolaan barang masuk, keluar, dan maintenance, serta validasi oleh manajer dan sistem otorisasi berbasis role (admin, staff, dan manajer). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat membantu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan aset IT. Dengan aplikasi ini, proses inventaris menjadi lebih tertib, cepat, dan transparan, serta mendukung transformasi digital di lingkungan kerja PT KAI.
