Abstract
Application of Passive Infrared Receiver sensor (PIR) on the smart room system based Microcontroller ATmega 8535 As’ad Mubarok This final report entitled "Application of Passive Infrared Receiver sensor (PIR) on the smart room system based Microcontroller ATmega 8535". The main purpose of this Final Report is to design a device that can work automatically in facilitating human work that turn on and off lights and exhaustfan that are in the bathroom of in space in order to save energy, costs and provides convenience in applying it. Writers get problems in making smart room system design tool this is how the PIR sensor to turn on the lights and exhaustfan by using microcontroller. In this tool, the PIR sensor is used to turn on and off lamp and exhaustfan is in the bathroom in the room suatau. The sensor works by detecting body heat, when the man went into the bathroom it will be detected and the PIR sensor will be activated according to function.
