Abstract

ABSTRACT THE APPLICATIONS OF WIPER MOTOR AS PORTAL DRIVER BASED ON MICROCONTROLLER ATMEGA 16 AHMAD FADIL In daily life, it is often difficult to put the vehicle user / parked vehicle into a parking area empty. As a result, the vehicle is turned towards the user because the parking area is fully and look for another parking area. For that designed a tool that has advantages portal opens and closes automatically and also displays the amount of available parking area. In this case, the authors take the title as “Application Of Wiper Motor As Portal Driver Based Microcontroller ATMega16” .Wiper motor is used to drive the portal by way of the wiper motor when the input is logic 1 (get a supply voltage), the current will flow in the coil so that the wiper motor plates on the motor magnetic force will arise. The magnetic force will repel each other according to one of the properties of magnets and the result of the repulsive nature of the wiper motor can move. Wiper motor used to drive the driver IC ULN2803A and 4 relay to drive the motor 1 and 2 to the right and to the left. When the input voltage of 1 get 4,83V (logic 1) then it will activate relay 1 so that the motor moves to the right which causes a portal opened. And when the second input voltage of 4.83 V get (logic 1) then it will activate relay 2 moves to the left so that the motor that causes the portal closes. Keywords: Wiper Motor, Relays, IC ULN2803A
