Abstract

One of the important developments of information technology is growing need for the use of data processing equipment that serves to generate the information needed especially in pengabsensian system. Hence made tools Student Attendance System Design and Simulation Door Opener using fingerprint that serves as a means of absenteeism which attendanced database will be stored and also as a safety door. The system controller is a microcontroller ATMega 8535 and with the programming language BASCOM - AVR and Visual Basic as the control to be moved to a stepper motor driver. Manner of operation by scanning the fingerprint then ATMega 8535 will send a command to the stepper motor so that the door will be open or closed. Than attendanced database can be viewed via remotely using TeamViewer. The issues taken is the working principle of hardware in the "Student Attendance System Design and Simulation Using Fingerprint Door Opener" The results of testing showed that the Attendance System Design and Simulation Using Fingerpritn Door Opener is functioning properly.
