Abstract

Traffic light are lights that are used to organize traffic continuity in every crossroad by organize the current traffic from each direction for running alternately. Censor is a component that used to detecting or measure the size from research object, by changing a physical or chemical quantity into an electrical signals. This traffic light are using infrared and photodiode censor for detecting if there is an offender on the crossroad. This report describes how the circuit power supply, minimum system of AT89S52, infrared and photodiode censor work. Which is this traffic light design working with every crossroad by setting the time, and catch the traffic offender when the red light is on. Then in the censor circuit, infrared measures as transmitter to sending the signal to photodiode, when the signal given from infrared to photodiode is cut by vehicle, at that moment the buzzer will active / on and warn you that there is an offender on the road.
