Abstract

Design of control system and monitoring fields irrigation via smartphone based on ATMega32 microcontroller uses a soil dry sensor called a hygrometer to detect the condition of agricultural land. If the soil on the dry fields, hygrometer sensor will work in the form of an SMS notification will be sent to the owner via mobiles anywhere fields owner located. Fields owner can control and monitor the state of the irrigation system through a cell phone because in the fields haved installed GSM CCTV which can be viewed through a video call. As for the water pump control system using microcontroller ATMega32 based on soil moisture sensors. Not only the pump control, but the system can also display how much moisture through the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). So hopefully with this system, the irrigation will be more effective and efficient. Hardware in the design of control systems and irrigation monitoring via smartphone based on ATMega32 microcontroller a consists of ATMega32 Microcontroller, Power Supply (regulator), the DC motor driver, soil moisture sensor (hygrometer), CCTV GSM, water sensor and LCD.
