Abstract
With the development of communication technology encourages people to create a communication system that is easy to use with a relatively affordable price, including radio telecommunication systems, with a wide range and it is cheaper than using cable communications systems. In this transmitter, it uses input voltage about 12 volt. In a radio transmitter, there are four main parts: power supply, oscilator, power amplifier, and antenna. One important part of a radio station are power amplifier and the antenna. The antenna is a very important component in radio telecommunication system because it serves to transmit or receive radio waves. In this final task, the antenna which was made is λ/2 of Omnidirectional antenna. The results of the measurement antenna is an antenna can work at a frequency that has been set is 103.2 MHz and beam antenna range is about 300 meter. It’s caused by using a low of transistor, it’s Transistor 2SC1970 which is increase the power of 1 watt only. To increase the power larger, just use the transistor that has more increase of power, just like Transistor 2SC1971. RF amplifier will never affect to frequency.
