Abstract
This research aims to develop a promotional video script to introduce Gelam Forest Fantasy, an artificial nature tourism destination located in Desa Pangkalan Benteng. The goal is to produce a well-structured and persuasive script suitable for digital media promotion. The study adopts the Research and Development (R&D) method, following Plomp’s (2013) development model, which consists of five stages: Preliminary Investigation, Design, Realization, Testing, Evaluation, Revision, and Implementation. Data were collected through library research, direct observation, interviews with site management, and expert validation. The product trial was limited to expert judgment rather than field testing, as the focus was solely on scriptwriting. The script was verified by three experts using an assessment rubric adapted from Weigle (2002) and revised based on input from the experts. The final product is a ready-to-use script that incorporates narrative, descriptive, and persuasive elements to effectively highlight the destination's unique attractions. This research contributes to tourism promotion efforts and offers guidance for developing compelling promotional content in artificial nature-based destinations.
