Abstract

Design of automatic glass cleaning tool on ATmega8535 microcontroller-based multi-storey building is designed to simplify the job of cleaning the glass in buildings that are at high risk. Another benefit of this tool is that it can reduce the number of work accidents in the work of cleaning the glass in buildings. The hardware consists of a limit switch, a DC motor, an electric pump, on-off button, the microcontroller ATmega8535. On the test results obtained if a predetermined time or the on-off switch, the microcontroller as the unit main control on the tool will process the state of the input by activating the DC motor duty moving wifer up and down, limit switch as the upper limit and lower limit of the distance range of glass to be cleaned. If the upper limit switch is active, the electric pump will be active, and the wiper motor will move down, the process will stop if the limit switches are active.
