Abstract
ABSTRACT The purpose of writing this final report is to determine the extent to which Pagi Sore Basuki Rahmat Restaurant of Palembang utilizing promotion in order to maintain existing market share and to know what promotion means more effective in increasing the volume of Sales Pagi Sore BasukiRahmat Restaurant of Palembang, To get the data from this restaurant, the authors use the method of interview and to analyze the data the authors used a method of analysis is qualitative descriptive. Data I get is Pagi Sore BasukiRahmatRestaurant of Palembang in marketing their products, relying only on the nameplate, and the card owner. Moreover, in promoting its products Pagi Sore BasukiRahmat Restaurant of Palembang is only periodically promote their products through the print media, namely newspapers and electronic media, namely radio in Palembang. However, Pagi Sore BasukiRahmat Restaurant of Palembang can add some promotional activities that is by using a salesperson or employee to promote products, to sponsor a race or events held in the city of Palembang by using discount coupons, through online media such as making account facebook, twitter and web specifically to promote a product or a new menu is available at Pagi Sore Basuki Rahmat Restaurant of Palembang, charity or CSR activities to the public in the city of Palembang, using promotional items such as umbrellas, calendars or t-shirts that have been awarded the label in the form of logo Pagi Sore BasukiRahmat Restaurant of Palembang and further improve again surveys the buyer after the sale, so that the sales volume will increase and the desired target will be achieved.
