Abstract
ANALYSIS OF SOURCE AND USE OF CASH ON PT KERETA API INDOENSIA (PERSERO) DIVISI REGIONAL III SUMATERA SELATAN Belly Kallahari, 2012 (xiii+64 pages) Email : Billykallahari@yahoo.co.id This final report is made of satisfy one of the requirements in completing the diploma of accounting department of education at polytechnic. In writing this final report, the authotrs take title “Analysis Of and Use of cash in PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divisi Regional III Sumatera Selatan”. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divisi Regional III Sumatera Selatan is a state-owned enterprise enganged in the field of trasport services. In this case the authors analyzed data in the form of financial statements in 2012, 2013 and 2014 were obtained from the company. From this analysis the authors found some problems that exist in the company management source and use of cash are less precise, consequently allowing companies to obtain less than optimal profit and also causes the accumulation of investment companies into high liquidity. From the above problems, the authors concluded yet precise management of source and use of cash in PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divisi Regional III Sumatera Selatan. According to analysis, hence writer providing advice, namely : the company should make proper planning of the source and use of cash so that the amount of cash can be controlled in conformity with the needs of the company and the company should be more selective in the management of investments in order to be able to approach the level of liquidity general standard liquidity ratios
