Abstract
ANALYSIS OF CASH RECEIPTS ACCOUNTING PROCEDURE AT DAILY NEWSPAPER SUMSEL POST Fitriyanti, 2015 (xiv + 56 pages) Email : fitry3395@yahoo.com This final report aimed to analyze and determine Cash Receipt Accounting Procedure of cash sales from advertising services at Daily Newspaper SUMSEL POST. Writer found some problems, which are classified advertising order form only has two sheets, the first sheet will be given to customers and the second sheet will be archived by cashier. This company still use kwitansi as payment receipt, thus it is not effective for payment transactions. Daily Newspaper SUMSEL POST does not have a document that gives evidence of advertising published. Related functions cash receipt of cash sales of classified advertising at Daily Newspaper SUMSEL POST is quite right but there is no specific division to record cash receipt into journals. To solve these problems, writer suggests that Daily Newspaper SUMSEL POST should have classified advertising order form and payment receipt in three sheets and use advertising published form. Daily Newspaper SUMSEL POST should have related financial reports regarding the cash receipt accounting system of cash sales from classified advertising by adding accounting division.
