Abstract
ANALYSIS OF SHORT CIRCUIR ON THE CIRCUIT BREAKER ON THE SUBSTATION HOME TALANG RATU (2015: xiv + 50 pages + 22 Pictures + 8 Table + 2 Graph + Attachment) Fault current flowing in a power system is different to the current flowing a few cycles later that shortly before breakers react to disconnect the channel on both sides point of interruption. Selection of the right of a circuit breaker is dependent on two things, namely, the amount of current flowing in the event of disruption and the magnitude of the current that must be decided. This study aimed to analyze the effect of circuit breaker pressure to the flow disturbance at the time of disconnection of power takes place. Hence PMT of the arc. Analysis is done is to determine the magnitude of fault current that can occur at the substation home talang ratu. The results obtained from the analysis of fault current magnitude on the 20 Kv with impaired 3 phase, 2 phases, 1 phase to the land of the long feeder is at 6.792,3 A, , 1.955,6 A, 284,71 A.
