Abstract

Clothes Dryer Design Automatically Based On Microcontroller ATMega16 Desty Ayu Afrilina (2015 : xiv + 49 Halaman + 34 Gambar + 9 Tabel) Global warming that swept the world lately causing climate change and season all over the world One of the tangible impact is the change in the weather that suddenly can cause inconvenience if the rain came suddenly. The tipycally on drying system it brings some ideas to create a clothes dryer based microcontroller ATMega16 instead of conventional process by drying under the sun. The aim of this project is to designed and made a drying clothes equipment based on Microcontroller ATMega16. Single chip ATMega16 was used as a controller in the drying process electronically. It was an easier way to dry the clothes without having to wait for good weather. LM35 sensor was used to detect room temperature in the dryer. Hair dryer of heat used as a component of the drier and fan was used to distribute heat in was drying room. This device will automatically control the drying process based on the temperature in the furnace room. After the temperature reaches above 40°C to 45°C, the hair dryer will stop automatically and the fan will spin automatically to regulate the circulation which is in the clothes room. When the room back at a temperature of 35°C to 40°C the hair dryer will active and the fan still spinning, and so on.
