Abstract

LIFT ROOM CONTROLLER BASED ON MINI PLC ON THE 3 FLOOR LIFT (2015 : xv + 53 pages, 43 pictures, 3 tables, 5 appendices) M. HERLAN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT STUDY PROGRAM OF ELECTRONICAL ENGINEERING STATE POLYTECHNIC OF SRIWIJAYA Lift is an equipment that is might be use by tools and people that works its way up and down from one place to another place. In every highland buildings such as office buildings, malls, and hospitals must have had a lift to facilitate a person or an object to be able to arrive at that floor or room with a relatively short time. In making the final report would be describe about lift room controller system that has a major part of the lift system. Lift room is motorized by mechanism system with 12 Volt DC motor power windows. The control system of lift room using PLC (Programmable Logic Control) with lift room calling input using push button and lift room stopper using proximity sensor that installed on each floor. The workings of this system is that if the push button is pressed to the floor intended to provide a logic 1 to the PLC, the space elevator will move with the button is pressed and the space elevator will stop when the proximity sensor on the floor of the intended active by providing a logic 1 to the PLC. PLCs are used to operate with a voltage of 24V, so the push button and proximity sensor provides a logic 1 when the voltage is connected to a PLC that is positive to 24 volts to provide input.
