Abstract

SRF04 SENSOR APPLICATION ON DESIGN OF SEA WATER DISTILLATION UNIT BASED ON MINI PLC SCHNEIDER ZELIO SR2 (2015: XIII + 44 Sheet + 33 Pictures + 5 Table + 5 Attachment ) M. Dirgantara Catur Putra 061230320206 Electrical Engineering Department Study Program Electronic Engineering State Polytechnic Of Sriwijaya This final report explain about SRF04 sensor as water height detector on distillator tank. This unit has some components which used, including input components like SRF04 sensor and DS1820 sensor, then on display using 16x2 LCD to showing measured of sensor, the converter is microcontroller ATMega 8535, the process component is Mini PLC Schneider Zelio SR2, and the output components is water pump and servo motor. The Work principle of SRF04 sensor is showing an ultrasonic wave for min 10 us on trigger pin and echo pin will receive a reflected wave of ultrasonic, timing of reflected wave ultrasonic appropriate with the distance of an object in front of the sensor. If timing from ultrasonic reflected wave have receive, so the distance of the object come calculate with the formula of wave propagation wave.
