Abstract

Dalam upaya pengembangan media dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam sistem informasi akademik di perguruan tinggi memberikan memberikan dukungan terhadap keakuratan dan kecepatan proses pengambilan keputusan yang dilakukan oleh manajemen tingkat atas yang ada pada perguruan tinggi tersebut. Kemudahan dalam penyajian informasi yang dapat dilihat dari berbagai dimensi tersaji dalam bentuk laporan yang mudah dibaca dan dipahami sehingga memberikan bentuk laporan-laporan yang informatif dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Adanya dashboard melalui multidimensional database dan reporting service yang lengkap dalam suatu sistem informasi eksekutif yang dapat dijadikan dasar setiap aktifitas manajemen tingkat atas tersebut. Dalam tulisan ini disajikan bentuk pengembangan multidimensional database dan reporting service sebagai sebuah dashboard pendukung sistem informasi eksekutif perguruan tinggi. Developing the media by utilizing information and communication technologies in the academic information systems at university will provide support to the accuracy and speed of decision-making processes carried out by existing top-level management at the college. Presented in simplicity of information that can be viewed from various dimensions presented in the form of a report that is simple to read and understand so that to gives shape informative reports that can be used as a reference in the decision making. The existence of multidimensional databases and dashboards through a complete reporting service in an executive information system that can be used as the basis of any top-level management activities. This paper is presented shapes the development of multidimensional databases and reporting service as an executive dashboard information system supporting the college.
