Abstract

BUILD AND DESIGN INDOOR MONITORING DEVICE FOR CLEAN AIR AND HAZARDOUS GAS CO, CO2, AND CH4 BASED ON MICROCONTROLLER Aldo Aziiz Putra, 2016 email: aldoaziiz@gmail.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A clean room is a healthy room. The sentence explains that a room needs to be cleaned from dust, garbage, and even dirty air by placing a good air circulation system. In this report there are three hazardous gases will be monitored, CO, CO2 and CH4. The device will be used to detect how high the quantity of CO, CO2, and CH4 in the confined room air. This device is using MQ gas sensor with different types based on the sensitivity of the sensor. These three sensors will be connected with ATMEGA 8535 Microcontroller for the whole system mechanics. The quantity of gas could be monitored through LCD and LED indicator. In addition, this device is equipped with blower. If the gas quantity excesses, the red LED will be switched on and blower will blow away the dirty air inside the confined room. If the air cleaned then the green LED will be switched on and blower will stop spinning.
