Abstract

THE POTENCIAL OF KORAN MUSEUM ATTRACTING DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL VISITORS The main purpose of this final report is to know The Potencial of Koran Museum Attracting Domestic and International Visitors. Koran Museum located at Jl. M. Amin Fauzi, Soak Bujang, RT 03/01. Gandus, Palembang. The writer use qualitative method. In this final report, the data were collected use observation, interview and documentation. The results show that Koran Musuem has potencies to be tourism object in Palembang. It has five essential elements of tourism they are attraction (activities), hospitality industries, transportation (accessibility), infrastructure and facilities. There are three potencies that can attract domestic and international visitors to visit Koran Museum. They are the existence of al-Qur’an Al-akbar, various religious activities, the uniqueness of decoration of Koran Museum
