Abstract
LPG is one of the government's program conversion into modern household items today. However, vigilance when using fixed LPG should not be forgotten. One risk is the use of LPG leaks in tubes or gas installation. Where there have been an explosion or fire resulting in fatalities and injuries. To cope with the fires we need a tool that can detect the presence of leaking gas. This system works by detecting of LPG gas itself. The workings of the sensor MQ-5 is the sensor works when the leakage of LPG gas in the simulation room, if it exceeds the levels of secure ppm (part per million), the microcontroller will send a command to send sms warning to homeowners, activate the alarm and blower on delay which has determined.
